The theatre programme is packed with a wide variety of events, club dates, theatre productions, music, comedy and great line of lunchtime specials, where poetry, pie and peas meet, or perhaps a little jazz and jambalaya!

Background

Originally opened on 16th November 1938, the former Thornton Lecture Hall has long been a centre for the community of Thornton Cleveleys for dances, stage productions and meetings.

Following extensive refurbishment in the summer of 2003, the Hall, newly entitled Thornton Little Theatre sports a fresh new look. A warm welcome awaits you in the redesigned reception area featuring a smart booking office / reception desk.

There are great shows and workshops to appeal to all ages and tastes; wiggle it a little bit at one of the popular belly dancing events or become one of the friends of the little theatre.

By Road

  • Leave the M6 at Junction 32 heading towards Blackpool on the M55.
  • Exit the M55 at Junction 3 and take the right hand lane to the roundabout.
  • Exit the roundabout for Fleetwood A585.
  • Continue along this road to the traffic lights at the end and turn left onto A585.
  • At the next set of lights bear right towards Fleetwood and Thornton Cleveleys, A585.
  • Carry on along this road, through the next set of traffic lights,
  • At the second roundabout turn right onto the B5268 Fleetwood Road South.
  • Drive through the traffic lights, the venue is on your left with a car park at the rear

From Blackpool: Number 14 every 10 mins till 6.00pm. Every 30 mins then on.
